Syrian soldiers and their popular allies fended off Jeish al-Islam's attacks on government strongholds in the Southern countryside of Aleppo for the fifth day in a row.

"Jeish al-Fatah, a coalition of over 22 terrorist groups, has sustained at least 400 casualties and scores more of injuries and retreated from the battlefields in the Southern and Southwestern countryside of Aleppo in the last five days," several army and Hezbollah commanders said.

Local sources said that five phases of large-scale assaults by Jeish al-Fatah to break through the government forces' positions and lift the siege on the militant-held districts in the Eastern part of Aleppo city have all failed.

"Scores of non-Syrian members of al-Turkistani terrorist group, who spearheaded the Jeish al-Fatah attacks in the frontline, have been killed in the last five days," the commanders added.

Reports said earlier on Saturday that Syrian soldiers and popular forces beat back terrorist groups from more positions in Southern and Western countryside of Aleppo and restored security to vast areas after hours of non-stop battle.

The Syrian government forces pushed Jeish al-Fatah terrorists back from the village of al-Ameriyeh in Southern countryside of Aleppo and Manashir Menyan in Western countryside of the city.

The Takfiri terrorists suffered a heavy death toll in the attacks.

The Army men launched mop-up operation in the newly-liberated lands.

The Syrian army's artillery units, for their part, shelled Jeish al-Fatah's positions in al-Ameriyeh and al-Jami'at heights, paving the way for the more rapid advances of government forces.

The Syrian army fortified its positions in the newly-captured heights and pushed towards Mo'amel al-Baradat.

Damascus
The Syrian army continued its advances in Western Ghouta in Damascus countryside and won control of more lands in the countryside of Darayya town on Saturday.

The army units recaptured Balal mosque and its surrounding areas in Darayya countryside.

The Syrian army and popular forces managed to make more military gains with the aerial support of the air force and artillery backup.

Meantime, dissident sources announced that the Syrian army, with missile and artillery support, managed to advance in Khan al-Shih farms from the direction of al-Salam highway.

The Syrian artillery units also hit the terrorists' military positions in Tala al-Kabousiya and Abbassiya farms.

Sweida
The Syrian army repelled two attacks by the ISIL terrorists on its military positions in Sweida province.

The army units repulsed the ISIL attacks on the villages of Tal Zalfaa and Abu Harat in the Northeastern part of Sweida province.

Several ISIS military vehicles, some equipped with machineguns, were also destroyed in the Syrian army attacks on Saturday.

Deir Ezzor
Syrian Army troops repelled ISIL's offensives on government forces' positions along the heights near the Eastern city of Deir Ezzor, claiming the lives of at least 165 terrorists.

Syrian soldiers, backed by tribal forces, fended off ISIS attacks to break through government positions near Brouk heights, leaving at least 165 terrorists dead and many more wounded.

Brouk heights enjoy strategic importance for both the Syrian army and terrorists due to its overlooking advantages over Deir Ezzor city.

Idlib
The Syrian army destroyed a military camp of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front) in the Southern parts of Idlib province on Saturday.

The terrorists' military camp was destroyed to the West of Oum Hartayn in Southern Idlib.

At least 28 Fatah al-Sham Front terrorists were killed in the Syrian army attack.

Meantime, four military vehicles of the terrorists were also destroyed in the raid.

Hama
The Syrian army targeted the military positions and gathering centers of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front), killing several militants, including their notorious commander.

Abu al-Bara'a al-Chami and eight other terrorists were killed in the town of al-Tamani'a in the Northern part of Hama province on Saturday, the Arabic-language media quoted an unnamed military source as saying.

Meantime, the Syrian air force destroyed the ISIS vehicles some equipped with machineguns.

Meantime, another army unit carried out concentrated bombardments on the supply routes and positions of the terrorists, destroying a machinegun-equipped vehicle loaded with a huge amount of arms and ammunition which was heading towards al-Zara in the Southern part of Hama province.

Quneitra
The Syrian army continued its advances in the city of Quneitra, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorists, including destroying their strategic tunnel, battlefield sources disclosed.

The terrorists' tunnel was destroyed near Abu Shabta site on al-Hamidiyeh-Jebbata al-Khashab road in Northern Quneitra, the Arabic-language media quoted an unnamed military source as saying.

The source noted that destroying the tunnel will help block the road used by the terrorists for transferring weapons and ammunition as well as their targeting the residential neighborhoods in al-Baath city.

Meantime, another army unit carried out military operations against terrorist groups in the ruined part of the city of Quneitra, destroying a vehicle equipped with a machinegun and killing many of the terrorists.

The army and popular forces also destroyed the terrorists' military vehicles in Northern Quneitra.

Other army units destroyed the military positions of the terrorist groups near al-Alam roundabout along the Eastern entrance of Quneitra city.

The operations left scores of terrorists dead and injured while destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Daraa
Syrian military forces continued to target bases and positions of Fatah al-Sham Front (the newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front) across key districts of the Southern city of Daraa, inflicting major casualties and losses on the terrorists.

Syrian soldiers targeted Fatah al-Sham's strongholds in Daraa al-Balad, destroying their mortar launchers and vehicles in large scale, in the meantime, several terrorists were killed in the army attacks.

The Army men also stormed two groups of Fatah al-Sham that were building new strongholds by ruining houses and shops in al-Abbasiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Mahatta district.

Fatah al-Sham suffered a heavy death toll in al-Abbasiyeh and pulled back its construction machinery.

Fatah al-Sham's positions in Eastern side of al-Omari mosque and near post office building were stormed by the army, FNA reported.
