Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said a Tuesday "roadmap" signed with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will resolve all past issues while fully observing the country's red lines, Al-Alam News Network reports.
Under the new agreement and with the measures by Iran and the UN nuclear agency, the whole outstanding issues of the past will be completely settled, Salehi told reporters in Vienna on Tuesday.
"All agreements, including the agreed arrangements for the issue of Parchin, will be implemented while fully observing the country's red lines," he noted.
"I hope that settlement of the past issues would open a new chapter in relations and cooperation between Iran and the agency," Salehi added.
Iran and the IAEA on Tuesday signed a "roadmap" for cooperation. According to IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano, the roadmap calls for the IAEA, with Iran's cooperation, to make an assessment of issues relating to possible military dimensions (PMD) of the Islamic Republic's nuclear energy program by the end of 2015.
"This is a significant step forward toward clarifying outstanding issues regarding Iran's nuclear program," Amano added.
The development came after Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) concluded more than two weeks of talks over Tehran's nuclear program.
