The Russian air fleet pounded the terrorists groups across Aleppo province in 39 fighter jet 35 helicopter combat flights, inflicting major losses on the militants.
Several sites and gatherings of terrorists and two munitions depots were hit in Kafr Hamra and Arran and three convoys of vehicles, some of which were armored and equipped with machineguns, were destroyed in the Russian strikes in Western Aleppo.
Over 70 terrorists were killed and a tank, two rocket launchers and three cannons were destroyed in the air raids on the military academy buildings in the Southern districts of Aleppo.
Reports said earlier today that Syrian Army troops and a large number of their popular allies carried out joint attacks on terrorist groups' defense lines in Khan Touman region to impose fire control over Aleppo-Damascus highway.
The Syrian Armed Forces and al-Nujaba fighters (Iraqi paramilitary) launched a new assault on the positions of terrorist groups near the village of al-Qarassi that is gateway to the strategic town of Khan Touman, inflicting a heavy death toll on the militants.
