The Syrian Army’ elite tiger forces, backed by Syrian and Russian airstrikes, made a significant progress in Malah Farms in southern Aleppo, capturing the al-Asamat area following fierce battles with the terror militants.
Media reporter accompanying the campaign underlined the peculiarity of the battles with the militants moving through a complex network of well-equipped and highly-entrenched tunnels.
The Turkish-backed rebels desperately seek to maintain their control on Malah area as it bears a strategic importance being a main supply route into the rebel-held districts of Aleppo, Almasdar reported.
