Federal police captain Raed Shakir Jawdat said that the country’s police forces raided the positions of the ISIS Takfiri terrorists in the Eastern side of Ramadi, and killed at least eight of the militants. Iraqi Air Force also pounded ISIS terrorists’ positions.
“The Iraqi security forces, backed by the federal police, advanced against the ISIS strongholds in the center of Husaybah and kill eight of the militants,” Jawdat said.
“The forces also dismantled three booby-trapped houses and 25 explosive devices planted on the side of the road during the security operation in the Eastern axis of Ramadi,” he added.
On Thursday, Iraqi warplanes destroyed an ISIS convoy of over 10 vehicles in Nineveh Province.
The warplanes destroyed eight fuel tankers and three vehicles belonging to the ISIS terrorists while they were transporting the crude oil from one of the main pipe lines in Qayara Refinery in Nineveh Province.
