Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the US, Britain, France, China and Russia - plus Germany are to sit at the negotiating table set for 7th and 8th of November to discuss Tehran’s nuclear energy program. The two sides wrapped up two days of nuclear talks in Geneva on October 16, Press TV reported.
The Iranian delegation, headed by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, arrived in Geneva on Wednesday, to hold consultations prior to the negotiations.
Araqchi is accompanied by Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takh-e-Ravanchi, Foreign Ministry's Director General for Political and International Affairs Hamid Ba'eedinejad, Foreign Minister's Legal Adviser Davoud Mohammadnia and Director General for Defensive Affairs at the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Amiri.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is to join the negotiating team on Wednesday.
EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton will head the six countries in the talks.
