The Syrian army has completely cleared the southern part of al-Qusayr in Homs province of armed groups, al-Alam correspondent reports.
The Syrian army also entered the northern neighborhood of al-Qusayr, the correspondent reported on Tuesday.
Heavy clashes are going on in the northern side of al-Qusayr which is considered the armed militants’ main stronghold, he added.
The Syrian army forces are continuing their pursuit of armed groups in al-Qusayr, al-Alam correspondent said.
The Syrian army also carried out an unprecedented operation in Latakia (west) which led to the annihilation of armed groups, he stated.
The army managed to target the bases of al-Nusra Front armed elements and destroy their arms depots in al-Najiya in Rif Latakia, al-Alam correspondent explained.
