The army and national defense forces inflicted heavy losses on the Fath al-Sham and Ahrar al-Sham terrorists in the town of Talbiseh and the village of al-Qantou in Northern Homs province.
A large number of militants from both terrorist groups were killed in the clashes with the Syrian army and popular forces.
Meantime, the Syrian army destroyed military convoy of Fath al-Sham terrorists in the Eastern part of Tir Ma'ala region, killing all terrorists inside the military vehicles.
The Syrian army also pounded the military positions of the terrorists in al-Wa'ar region, killing and injuring several terrorists.
In a relevant development on Tuesday, the Syrian army continued to inflict heavy losses on the terrorists in the Eastern part of Homs as the country's air force hit hard ISIS's military positions in the Eastern and Southeastern parts of the province.
The Syrian army units backed by Syrian and Russian air forces struck ISIS's military positions in the surrounding areas of Arak oil field and the Eastern parts of Palmyra (Tadmur) silos.
A large number of the ISIS terrorists were killed in the Syrian and Russian strikes while many others were injured.
Several of the terrorists' armored vehicles and machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed to the East of al-Quaryatyn city, some 85 kilometers to the Southeast of Homs city.
Also on Monday, battlefield sources disclosed that the Syrian army and National Defense Forces (NDF) have repelled an attack by Fath al-Sham Front (The Conquest of Syria Front - newly formed al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group previously known as al-Nusra Front) in Homs city.
The Syrian army and popular forces prevented the terrorists from penetrating into Homs city's Khorab avenue.
Several Fath al-Sham terrorists were killed and injured in heavy clashes with the Syrian army in al-Wa'ar region of Homs.
In a relevant development on Sunday, the commander of the so-called revolutionary movement, a terrorist group operating in Eastern Syria, was killed in clashes with the army in Northern Homs.
Mohammad Rashid Dalla and six of his group members were killed in heavy fighting with the Syrian army soldiers in a region between Deir Foul and al-Rastan.
The militant group's equipment and vehicles also sustained serious damage in the clashes.
Reports said earlier on Sunday that Syrian fighter jets launched several air attacks on ISIS's positions in oil-rich regions of Eastern Homs, leaving dozens of terrorists dead or wounded.
ISIS's gathering centers in al-Sha'er oilfield near the ancient city of Palmyra, al-Heil gas field and al-Sukhnah region were massively bombed by the Syrian fighter jets.
Scores of the ISIS members were killed and their machinegun-equipped vehicles were damaged badly in the air attacks.
The Army's artillery units also opened heavy fire at terrorists' sites in al-Wa'ar district in Homs city's countryside and in Talbiseh and al-Houleh in Northern Homs, FNA reported.
