The offensive started off on the right foot for Fatah Halab, as their combatants managed to enter the Al-Ramouseh District from their positions at the Sadkop Garages after a successful tunnel bombing; however, this success proved to be limited, as they could not find any infiltration point to bypass the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses.
Following a long and gruesome battle, the terrorist rebels were forced to retreat from Al-Huwayz Hill and the nearby sawmills, leaving the Syrian Arab Army in full control of the Al-Ramouseh District.
Making matters worse for the rebels, they sustained a high number of casualties during the battle on Tuesday, marking this day as one of their most devastating defeats this year in the Aleppo Governorate.
