(MNA) -- "On behalf of the three branches, I must thank the great people of Iran who, as always, stood up against American conspiracies. And the US plan is based on creating disappointment among the people, but the people responded decisively both in practice and words," Rouahni said following the tripartite meeting of head of Executive branch Hassan Rouhani, head of Judicial branch Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani and head of Legislative branch Ali Larijani on Monday.

"Of course in this meeting, we discussed different scenarios that may be ahead of us, and there is the required coordination for our future decisions," the president said.

Rouhani also said that economic issues were another topic discussed during the meeting, adding "we also discussed economic issues in detail and the ways to eradicate them to make people feel completely safe and know that for their investment and their economic activities, there is complete security in the country."

“In order to better attract investment, especially from Iranian entrepreneurs working overseas, we made good decisions so that all investors and entrepreneurs could make the best use of the economic environment of the country within the framework of laws and regulations of the country," he noted.

President Rouhani also referred to the regional issues, asserting that "the global Arrogance is always seeking instability and insecurity in the region and creating disagreements between the countries of the region, and we believe that the issues of the region should be resolved through coordination by the countries of the region, and there is a necessary mechanism for that."

Pointing to the efforts of the Arrogance to create insecurity and spread terrorism in the region, Rouhani said "today, we are resolving the issues in the region step by step, and I hope that the countries of the region can get rid of terrorism in the near future, and terrorism is eradicated from our region and the Arrogance cannot achieve the goals it pursues."

The president also said that the Arrogance will continue its efforts to create disagreements with the aim of selling weapons, saying "we have to find solutions to the disagreements that exist in the region. In the same vein, killings and bombing of the region should be stopped, and we discussed this issue at the meeting, and the three branches are in line with each other in this regard, and, God willing, the necessary measures will be taken."

“I believe that the requirement for the country to go along the path of progress is that all the forces and branches of the country be united under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, and undoubtedly, consultation and coordination of the three branches is very influential," Rouhani said, adding Leader’s emphasis was that the heads of the three branches should convene more, and tonight we decided to hold the meetings of such nature in regular and shorter intervals."
