Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has collaborated with a charity to send a message across social media with the aim of giving hope to those affected by the terrible recent events in the Syrian war.
The Portugal international regularly works with different initiatives, and this time is teaming up with Save the Children to send out a positive message to those who have suffered as a result of the conflict.
Speaking on a video posted on his Twitter profile, Ronaldo had a message of support to share:
"Hello, this is for children of Syria. We know that you have been suffering a lot. I am a very famous player, but you are the true heroes, don't lose your hope.
"The world is with you, we care about you. I am with you," he said.
