The army units killed at least 7 ISIS terrorists and destroyed their military vehicle equipped with a 14.5milimeter machine in Tal Brouk, Northwest of Deir Ezzor city.
The Syrian army destroyed the terrorists' weapons and ammunition in the surrounding areas of Panorama to the Southwest of the city of Deir Ezzor.
In a relevant development on Saturday, the Syrian Army troops repelled ISIS's offensives on government forces' positions along the heights near the Eastern city of Deir Ezzor, claiming the lives of at least 165 terrorists.
Syrian soldiers, backed by tribal forces, fended off ISIS's attacks to break through government positions near Brouk heights, leaving at least 165 terrorists dead and many more wounded.
Brouk heights enjoy strategic importance for both the Syrian army and terrorists due to its overlooking advantages over Deir Ezzor city.
Also on Thursday, the Syrian warplanes destroyed three positions and several vehicles equipped with machineguns and carrying weapons and ammunition for the ISIS terrorists in Deir Ezzor.
The source explained that the airstrikes were conducted in al-Mura'yeh, al-Baqaliyeh, South of the Panorama and al-Jneineh in Deir Ezzor.
Sources on the ground also said that ISIS “Emir” in Hosseiniyeh village, Turki al-Hassa’a, was killed along with seven of his companions in a military operation by the Syrian army troops; FNA reported.
