"After the SDF opened humanitarian corridors between the war-torn town and its liberated countryside, the civilians use any opportunity to leave the town," the sources said.
"Over 1,000 civilians are being evacuated from Manbij on a daily basis since the start of the operations five weeks ago, most of them are women and children."
“When we left Manbij city, ISIL militants opened fire at us, and tried to interrupt our attempt to escape," Camilla Muhammad, a civilian said, adding, "However, there are still many civilians stranded inside the city."
The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) repelled ISIL's offensives to break the siege on the town of Manbij in Northeastern Aleppo, and killed at least a hundred militants, Kurdish sources said.
"Over 100 ISIL fighters were killed as their forces were pushed back by the SDF fighters to Jubb al Katashil, a village South of Manbij," the sources said, adding, "The ISIL military hardware also sustained major losses in the unsuccessful attacks; FNA reported.
