The Syrian army pushed back ISIS attack on a strategic village in the Northern part of Hama province on Thursday, inflicting heavy losses on the Takfiri terrorists.
The ISIS terrorists launched an offensive on al-Mabojeh village in Salamiyah area in Northern Hama, but were pushed back by the Syrian army and resistance forces.
At least a dozen terrorists were killed and many more were wounded in heavy clashes with the Syrian army.
A number of the terrorists' military vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns were also destroyed in the clashes.
In a relevant development on Tuesday, the Syrian Army troops stormed a military column of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front on a road on the Western side of the town of al-Salamiyah, inflicting major damage on terrorists' vehicles, provincial sources said Tuesday.
"The Al-Nusra's convoy of vehicles moving on the Taldara-al-Ramliyeh road came under attack by the Syrian military forces," the sources said, and added, "The terrorists' vehicles were severely damaged in the attacks and their supply line was cut for several hours."
