Battlefield sources announced that the Syrian army has pushed back attacks by the al-Nusra Front and the ISIS terrorist groups on al-Salamiyah region in the Northern part of Hama province.
The army units managed to repulse the ISIS's attack on the village of al-Mabojeh in the Northwestern part of al-Salamiyah region.
Scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and wounded in the Syrian army's counteroffensive in Salamiyah region.
The Syrian army also fended off the al-Nusra Front's attacks on several areas in the surrounding areas of Salamiyah.
In a relevant development on Tuesday, the Syrian Army troops stormed a military column of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front on a road on the Western side of the town of al-Salamiyah, inflicting major damage on terrorists' vehicles, provincial sources said Tuesday.
"The Al-Nusra's convoy of vehicles moving on the Taldara-al-Ramliyeh road came under attack by the Syrian military forces," the sources said, and added, "The terrorists' vehicles were severely damaged in the attacks and their supply line was cut for several hours."
