100 cases of medical supplies donated by the Czech Red Cross Arrived in Damascus on Sunday.

The first batch of aid kits from European humanitarian organization since the implementation of European Union’s sanctions to Syria arrived in Damascus on Sunday.

The shipment, which was made by an airplane of the Czech Republic’s air force, included around 100 cases of medical supplies donated by the Czech Red Cross.

Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the consignee, said the aid kits will be delivered to Syrian cities that are in urgent need of aid, CCTV reports.

Earlier in April, the vice Czech foreign minister Martin Tlapa announced that the Czech government had approved the delivery of two batches of humanitarian aid valued 166,000 U.S. dollars to embattled Syria.
