In Deir Ezzor province the Syrian army air force targeted gatherings of ISIS (so-called Islamic State, ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh terrorists east of Deir Ezzor military airport in the past few hours, killing scores of them and destroying vehicles loaded with arms and equipped with various machineguns, a military source told SANA on Wednesday.

ISIS terrorists suffered heavy losses in army airstrikes launched against their dens and gatherings in al-Bugheiliyeh village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor province.

In the meantime, a field source said an army unit, in cooperation with the engineering units, carried out yesterday an ambush leading an ISIS group on to a street in al-Sinaa neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city after planting the street with landmines and bombs.

75 Daesh Terrorist Killed in Deir Ezzor City 

The bombs were then detonated, leaving at least 75 terrorists dead, who included foreigners, in addition to destroying their arms, equipment and a cannon.

Army units also destroyed a position for ISIS terrorists in al-Hweiqa neighborhood and vehicle equipped with a rocket launching pad in al-Jubeiliyeh neighborhood.

In Aleppo army units destroyed vehicles and sites of Jabhat la-Nusra  (Nusra Front) during concentrated strikes against their gatherings and fortified sites in Orum al-Sughra, Kafar A’ma and Zitan villages to the south of Aleppo city.

The army’s operations continued against terrorists’ gatherings and supply routes in Bayanoun town to the northwest of Aleppo, destroying terrorists’ vehicles.

In the eastern countryside of Aleppo, an army unit destroyed ISIS sites in Abu Jabar village in Kweiris area.

In Aleppo city, an army unit killed number of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists during accurate operation against their dens in al-Saliheen neighborhood.

In province of Homs an army unit carried out on Wednesday morning a series of intensive operations targeting ISIS sites to the north and east of Palmyra city in Homs countryside.

According to the source, the operations resulted in destroying fortifications for ISIS terrorists and a number of vehicles near the stores site to the north of Palmyra, in addition to the death of many terrorists.

In Daraa an army unit thwarted an attack by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on a military post on the southern outskirts of al-Menshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in Daraa city.

The army unit clashed with the terrorists who infiltrated towards the military post, killing a number of them and destroying their weapons before the rest fled.
