The Syrian government troops took control of Katlatin neighborhoods in Salaheddin region in Southern Aleppo, battlefield sources said.  

Scores of the Takfiri terrorists were killed and wounded in the heavy battle with the Syrian army and popular forces.

In a relevant development earlier on Sunday, the Syrian army and the NDF) seized back a strategic village and hilltop in Southeastern Aleppo province.

The army units and popular forces are now in full control of Burj al-Atshanah village and Jabal al-Qaliyat (al-Qaliyat mountain) after tough battle with the Takfiri terrorists.

In a relevant development on Saturday, the Syrian army and popular forces continued their advances in Aleppo province after inflicting a huge loss on the terrorists.

At least 90 Takfiri terrorists, including their notorious commanders, were killed South of al-Mallah Farms and near the town of Hraytan in fierce clashes with the Syrian army and popular forces.

The heavy clashes broke out between the Syrian army and terrorist groups following rocket and mortar attacks on the military positions of army units.

Reports from Aleppo said earlier on Saturday that the top field commander of Faylaq al-Sham terrorist group was killed in heavy fighting with the Syrian Army troops in the Northern part of Aleppo province near Handarat camp.

Hakim al-Omar, the leader of Falylaq al-Sham (the Sham Legion) was killed in clashes with the Syrian government forces in al-Mallah farms.

Several more terrorists, accompanying al-Omar, were killed in the army attacks, FNA reported.
