The Syrian Arab Army’s 104th Brigade of the Republican Guard reported the downing of ISIS reconnaissance drone inside the Industrial District of Deir Ezzor on Saturday afternoon.
According to the 104th Brigade media wing, the ISIS drone was spotted while circling the Syrian Arab Army’s positions around the Industrial Zone of the Industrial District. ISIS has attacked the Deir Ezzor Industrial District on a number of occasions this month in order to build a larger buffer-zone around the western bank of the Euphrates River.
However, ISIS has been been repelled by the Syrian Armed Forces after every attempt to bypass their defenses, Almasdar reported.
