The army regained control over further Key villages, towns and cities in Homs, Sweida, Aleppo, Deir Ezzur, Hama and Quneitra provinces pushing back militants from their military positions and strongholds.
Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured in heavy clashes with the Syrian army and aerial bombardments of Syria's fighter jets.
Homs
The Syrian Army forces and their allies seized back control over several strategic points, including a strategic hilltop, in the Central Homs province following heavy clashes with the ISIL/ISIS terrorists.
The Syrian Army alongside the popular forces kept on their advances against militant groups' positions in the Eastern parts of Homs province, and managed to seized back and establish control over key ar-Raqim hill, and 901 and 902 points in the region, military sources said on Thursday.
Also on Thursday, the Syrian army units, accompanied by popular forces, seized a large cache of arms and ammunitions by attacking the terrorists' positions near strategic hilltops in the Central province of Homs.
During the operations, the army units also defused bombs and mine traps planted by the terrorist groups and killed the last group of militants stationed in al-Talal area to regain full control over the region.
Also on Thursday, the Syrian army units and popular forces also started operations against the ISIL/ISIS headquarters around the hills near Thania al-Hit in the Northwestern parts of Mahasa town, 80km Southeast of Homs city.
Sweida
The Syrian army made another arms cargo seizure in the Southern province of Sweida on Thursday, military sources said, adding that the cargo contained Israeli-made weapons destined for the terrorists.
Military sources said the seizure was made on a road in the Northern parts of Sweida province, adding that the vehicle was carrying the arms form the al-Lajat for the militants lurking in the Syrian desert.
The sources added that the seized shipment included some arms with Hebrew engravings which clearly show the origin of the arms was Israel.
Aleppo
The Syrian Kurdish fighters engaged in fierce clashes with al-Nusra terrorists in the city of Aleppo injuring at least 8 militants in fire exchange.
The clashes erupted on Thursday in al-Ashafiyeh neighborhood in key city of Aleppo, as the Kurdish fighters of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) continue their advances against al-Nusra defense lines in the city.
One of the main headquarters of the ISIL terrorist group was captured by the Syrian army and popular forces in the Northern province of Aleppo.
Durahim hill was one of the biggest military bases of the ISIL in the Northeastern parts of Khanasser town whose full control was won back by the Syrian forces on Thursday.
Before the achievement, the Syrian army, volunteered troops and Hezbollah managed to retake full control of five villages near the town of Khanasser in Aleppo.
The Syrian army continued its advances in the Northern province by taking back the villages of Zabad, Touba, al-A'la, al-Hayat al-Saqira and al-Hayat al-Kabira in the Northeastern parts of the strategic town of Khanasser.
Tens of ISIL militants were killed and wounded during the operations and their vehicles and weapons were destroyed.
Deir Ezzur
The Syrian artillery units heavily pounded ISIL's positions in Deir Ezzur province, destroying the terrorists' military hardware and annihilating dozens of them, military sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that "the Syrian artillery units heavily pounded the Takfiri militants' positions in the Tal al-Mahrouqat area in Ayyash village North of the city of Deir Ezzur, managing to destroy a Bulldozer ISIL used for building fortifications in the area".
Hama
The Syrian military and popular forces in joint operations on Thursday killed over 20 terrorists in several villages in Hama province.
According to dissident sources, the 20 terrorists included militants from Turkistan who were killed in clashes with the Syrian forces in the rural areas of Hama.
Several other militants were also wounded in the attacks.
Also on Thursday, military sources said that the Syrian Army forces put to death more than 70 terrorists and destroyed their vehicles as the army troops were pushing their way further into Northern areas in Hama province.
The military sources said pro-government forces impose the heavy casualties on the al-Nusra militants after they took back more lands in the province at the end of heavy clashes with the terrorists.
The killings of the militants occurred in rugged areas near the villages of Maan, Tayebeh al-Esm and al-Sha'ateh, North of Hama province.
One of senior al-Nusra commanders lost his life on Thursday in Southern Quneitra province as a mine he was planting suddenly exploded, a source in the region said.
The well-informed source on the ground said, "The al-Nusra front's field commander Abu al-Fada died as one of the mines he was planting accidently exploded in Mughr Al-meer in the Northern areas of al-Quneitra province."
Quneitra
