Syrian government forces killed members of ISIS terrorists and destroyed their vehicles.
Army units clashed with a terrorist groups of ISIS terrorist organization in the vicinity of al-Bardeh village and al-Bayarat area in the eastern countryside of Homs province, military source told SANA on Wednesday.
The clashes resulted in killing scores of ISIS members and destroying a number of their vehicles some of which were equipped with machineguns.
Earlier on Tuesday the army announced that government forces had recaptured several checkpoints in the region.
Meanwhile, the US and Russia have finally agreed on a Syria ceasefire starting on February 27, SANA reported.
