Forces loyal to Libya’s internationally recognized government seized control from terrorists Tuesday of a key central neighborhood of second city Benghazi, a military official said.
“We have totally liberated the area of Lithi,” said Fadel al-Hassi, of Libya’s Special Forces, who are battling militias including the Islamic State (Daesh / ISIS) group in the coastal city.
