Daraa
Army units targeted gatherings and positions for Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in separate areas in Daraa al-Balad in Daraa city and to the south of Tal al-Zumeitiyeh, west of al-Yarmouk suburb, a military source told SANA on Wednesday.
A command center, several barricades and vehicles equipped with machineguns and loaded with ammunition were destroyed as a result of the army operations.
In the eastern countryside of Daraa province, several gatherings of terrorists and their fortifications were destroyed in an army operation in al-Nueimeh town.
An army unit destroyed a wireless station for terrorist organizations on Daraa-Tafas road in the northern countryside of Daraa, while another army unit hit gatherings of terrorists in al-Yadouda town, 5 km northwest of Daraa city.
Damascus Countryside
At least 37 terrorists were eliminated by Army and Armed Forces units operating in Darriya in the western Ghouta part of Damascus Countryside during the past 24 hours.
A military source said in a statement to SANA that army units carried out concentrated operations against bases and fortified positions of terrorist organizations in Darriya city, killing 37 of their members and destroying their arms and munitions.
The leader of the “unified battalion” in “Sahd brigade” terrorist group, who was known as “Abu Salmo,” was killed along with other terrorists including Ahmad Mattar, Aiman Abu Mahrous, Zuhair Abu Munzer, Ammar Abu Maher, Zaher al-Abbad, Khaled Abu Khalil, Walid Abu Ahmad, and Zakaraya Abu Ayman, according to the source.
Hama/Idleb
The Syrian Air Force carried out strikes against the hideouts and gatherings of “Jaish al-Fateh” terrorist organization in Kafar Zita city and Kafar Naboda town to the northwest of Hama city in Hama province, a military source said.
The source said that terrorists’ fortified positions and vehicles, some of them equipped with machineguns, were destroyed during the airstrikes, in addition to killing number of terrorists.
The airstrikes also targeted terrorists’ sites and dens in al-Sahria village in the northern countryside of Idleb, destroying their weaponry and ammunition.
To the east of Idleb city, airstrikes targeted Jaish al-Fateh in Afes village near the Aleppo-Damascus Highway, destroying their dens along with all weapons and munitions.
The source added that a number of terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed during airstrikes against their movements and sites in Abu al-Duhuor town in the southeast countryside of the province.
To the north of Idleb city, the source confirmed that the Syrian airstrikes destroyed the dens and positions of terrorist organizations in Harbanosh village and to the west of Maarit Masrin.
Homs
The army’s air force destroyed positions and vehicles for terrorist organizations in Tadmur (Palmyra), Bayarat area.
Terrorist organizations were inflicted heavy losses in personnel, vehicles and mortar launchers in Syrian air force strikes on the villages and towns of Rasm Hamida, Aliya, Ghanima, Bouraq Neshmy and Jebb al-Jaraah some 70 km to the east of Homs, the source affirmed.
Meanwhile, Syrian air force destroyed Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations’ gatherings and machingun-equiped vehicle in the villages of Teir Ma’ale, Ghajar and Kisseen.
Deir Ezzor
The army’s air force destroyed positions and vehicles for terrorist organizationsand al-Hamad in Deir Ezzor.
Aleppo
The Syrian Air Force launched a series of airstrikes against the dens and fortified positions of ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra in Aleppo countryside, according to a military source.
The source said that ISIS gatherings and machinegun-equipped vehicles were destroyed during the strikes in Tadef, Tiba al-Ism and its farms, and al-Bab city in the eastern and northeastern countryside of the province.
The strikes also targeted fortified positions of Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Bawabia, Kamarin, al-Zarba, and Khan al-Assal in the southern and southwestern countryside, destroying the sites along with all terrorists and weapons inside them.
In the northern countryside, the airstrikes targeted terrorists’ dens in Sawran village near to Azaz city, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists’ ranks and destroying their munitions.
Terrorist organizations’ social media pages confirmed that some of their members were killed in Aleppo province, including Abdullah Marei Karim and Abdelqader Ibrahim Ghoul, Sana reported.
