The second member of ISIS's notorious prison guards associate to ISIS executioner “Jihadi John” who western captives called them 'Beatles' after freedom, has been identified as a West Londoner.
Alexanda Kotey, 32, from Shepherd's Bush, was one of the four guards who tormented foreign prisoners in an ISIS prison in Syria, according an investigation by Buzzfeed and Washington Post.
Kotey, a father of two children, converted to Islam in his early twenties after being in a relationship with a Muslim woman.
It has been claimed that Kotey used to regularly attend the al-Manaar mosque in Ladbroke Grove along with Mohammed Emwazi, better known as Jihadi John.
They were both part of the 'London boys', a group of young radical extremists, predominantly from West London who advocated violence.
The group has been linked to 7/7 bombings and the failed 21/7 attack in London. Several of whom have been killed in Syria and Somalia.
Kotey, who is half Ghanaian, half Greek Cypriot, is thought to have travelled to the ISIS-held city of Raqqa, where he is believed to have become one of the four prison guards known as the Beatles.
