Iraqi army troops have killed 40 ISIS elements, including two suicide bombers during a security operation in Fallujah, Baghdad Operations Command announced on Tuesday.
Baghdad Operations Command’s Spokesman Brigadier General Saad Maan said, “For the third day in a row, Baghdad Operations Command continues the cleansing of Albu Shajel area northwest of Fallujah,” pointing out that, “The operation was carried out in coordination with the international coalition aviation and Iraqi Air Force, engineering teams, in addition to the artillery and missile backing brigades.”
Maan added, “The security operation resulted in the killing of more than forty terrorists, including the terrorist leader Tariq Shibl Qaraghuli and two suicide bombers,” indicating that, “38 terrorists were wounded in the operation and 31 explosive devices were dismantled,” IraqiNews reported.
