Seven others were reported injured in the attack that included 5 shells, a source at the Police Command of Damascus Countryside told SANA on Saturday, noting that a woman was among the dead and that most of the injured were women and children.
The shells, which fell in al-Thawra quarter in the neighborhood, caused material damage to the residents’ properties.
Al-Wafidin Camp, located to the northeast of Douma city, is home to thousands of families displaced from the Syrian Golan by the Israeli occupation authorities since 1967.
