Army units, in cooperation with the popular defense groups, established control over al-Kalouksi Mountain, Kitf al-Qamoua and the villages of al-Ghneimiyeh, al-Qalabea, Beit Sukkar, al-Oweinat, Khan al-Jouz, Beit Riha and Bradoun in the northern countryside of Lattakia province, Sana reported.
Homs
The army and the National Defense Forces stormed the ISIS concentration centers near al-Maqale'e and Wadi al-Qaddahat in al-Bayarat in the Central Homs province, killed or wounded many militants and destroyed their military vehicles, the army said.
The ISIL positions in Tuloul al-Soud and Rahoum in the Eastern part of the province came under the heavy attacks of the Syrian government forces, which ended in the killing and wounding of several militants and destruction of their weapons and equipment, the army added.
On Thursday, the Syrian army and popular forces continued retaking the Daesh-controlled areas across Homs, cutting off terrorists' supply routes.
The Syrian army units and the popular defense groups established control over a number of strategic hills and heights, including Thaniet Rashed, in the Eastern side of Homs province, a field source said.
They also cut off the ISIS terrorists’ supply routes from al-Mahasa to al- Quaryatayn, he added, FNA reported.
