International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano has met with Head of Atomic Energy Agency of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran on Monday.
Amano arrived in the Iranian capital early on Monday to hold talks with the Iranian officials on strengthening of relations between Iran and the IAEA.
The two officials are to attend a press conference after today's meeting to elaborate on the issues discussed.
The IAEA chief on Saturday released a report on nuclear verification in Iran.
Then, the US and the European Union lifted anti-Iran sanctions and the implementation of the July 14 nuclear agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) started; IRNA reported.
