Nangarhar has seen a rise in the number of terrorists joining Daesh ranks in recent months.

Taliban have warned Daesh ringleader Ibrahim al-Samarrai, also known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, against “waging a parallel insurgency in Afghanistan.”

Also according to "Bakhtar News" Villagers conducting attack killed 14 Daesh terrorists in Nangarhar province.

The rebels were busy in terror and destructive activities in Acheen district of Nangarhar province, targeted by uprising attack and killed.

A senior border police in the east of the country told BNA; in the uprising attack 14 Daesh members lost their lives.It has been said; in the incident no civilians sustained harms.

Earlier this month, about 40 Daesh terrorists were killed in Afghan aerial and ground attacks in Achin. 

Dozens of the terrorists were killed last month during an operation in which the Takfiri group's radio station in the district was destroyed, Achin governor Haji Ghalib Mujahid said.

Afghanistan is gripped by insecurity 14 years after the United States and its allies attacked the country as part of Washington’s so-called war on terror. Although the 2001 attack overthrew the Taliban, many areas across Afghanistan still face violence and insecurity.
