According to local Afghan Khaama News, two airstrikes were carried out in parts of the district dominated by the group in eastern Nangarhar province.
Haji Ghalib Mujahid, governor of Achin District confirms the airstrike but says there is no information about casualties.
Achin District is stronghold of the fanatics of ISIS in eastern part of the country.
The group has been engaged in heavy clashes with security forces and pro-government militia formed by a powerful lawmaker Haji Zahir Qadir.

Most recently the group beheaded four members of the pro-government militia after which their four fighters were also decapitated.
According to reports Taliban already hold three districts in Helmand, Sangin's status resonates because of the hundreds of British and US soldiers and marines killed and wounded while fighting in the district.
The interior ministry also said that security forces had killed a senior Taliban commander named Mullah Nasir.
According to Afghan officials, the battle for the Sangin district in the southern Helmand province has taken a turn in their favor after overnight airstrikes.
