Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed with representatives of the supreme Marjiyaa in Najaf, Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai and Ahmed al-Safi a number of issues including the “victories” achieved by the security forces in the war against ISIS terrorist organization.
According to a statement issued by al-Abadi, the latter met the representative of the religious Marjiyaa and the secretary general of the Husseini shrine, Abdul Mahdi al-Karbalai.
The statement added “During the meeting, they discussed al-Arbeniya of Imam Hussein and service for visitors in addition to the general situation in the country and the challenges in all sectors as well as the victories achieved by our heroine armed forces.”
In a second statement, al-Abadi discussed with the representative of the supreme religious Marjiyaa and the Secretary General of al-Abasi shrine, Ahmed al- Safi, services and security for visitors.
The statement said that, “the challenges facing the country were discussed during the meeting in various fields in addition to the war on ISIS terrorists and victories achieved in all areas of operations.” shafaaq.com reported.
