Rare footage shows how 70 ISIS’s hostages are freed from prison by Joint US special forces and Kurdish Fighters operation. In the rescue operation one US soldier killed and 3 Peshmerga soldiers injured.
The Kurdistan Region Security Council has released this video in a joint operation with the U.S. that also left an American soldier dead.
Prisoner freed from a prison in the Iraq’s Hawija. The overnight mission saved hostages who were in “imminent danger” of execution by ISIS,according to US officials. Kurdish officials said more than 20 ISIS fighters were killed, and six were taken captive.
U.S. Defense Secretary Ash Carter said a “significant cache” of intelligence was gathered in the raid.
Today in other parts of battle against ISIS, the Security Committee in Khalidiya Council in Anbar province announced on Sunday the participation of Iraqi F16 fighter jets for the first time in bombing ISIS gatherings in Ramadi -110 km west of Baghdad- asserting that the strikes hit their targets accurately and killed dozens of members of the ISIS Terrorist organization.
Also according to Iraqi Local sources Peshmerga forces attacked the headquarters of the ISIS by rockets inside Sinjar neighborhoods west of Mosul -405 km north of Baghdad-.
