The Syrian army troops struck a heavy blow at the Takfiri militants in various areas across Aleppo on Wednesday.
The army targeted movements and hideouts of terrorists in the vicinity of the Air Force Academy and al-Nairab Airport in the Eastern countryside of Aleppo, killing a large group of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.
The Syrian troops also killed a large group of terrorists of al-Nusra Front in a military operation in the towns of Bianoun and Hreitan in the Northwestern countryside of Aleppo.
The Syrian forces also conducted military operations in various neighborhoods in Aleppo city, including al-Rashidin, al-Lairamoun, Bani Zaid, Bustan al-Basha and Suleiman al-Halabi, leaving scores of terrorists dead, FNA reported.
