The Syrian army thwarted a terrorists’ infiltration attempt in Sweida province on Wednesday.
The troops killed all the members of the terrorist group who attempted to infiltrate from the Southeastern side of al-Thalaa Airport, and destroyed a truck with terrorists on board in the countryside of Sweida province.
Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 240,000 people, according to reports.
Over 3.8 million Syrians have left their country since the beginning of the crisis. According to reports, more than seven million Syrians have become internally displaced, FNA reported.
