“The continuation of radical stances by the Canadian officials on Iran, especially under the present conditions shows that the Canadian government’s approach towards Iran lacks any logical and rational basis,” Afkham said.
“The Canadian government’s following up the Zionist regime’s stances vis-à-vis the Islamic Republic of Iran has resulted in the isolation of that country’s conservative government in the international community and even among its old allies,” she added.
Afkham called on the Canadian officials to step in a rational and wise path vis-à-vis war-mongering and extremism.
The Canadian foreign ministry after sum-up agreement of nuclear talks in Vienna on July 14 accused Iran of continuing support for terrorism and said that Iran is the main threat for international security and peace.
