Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham said Iran's nuclear negotiating team follows guidelines set by Ayatollah Khamenei, Al-Alam News Network reports.
Speaking at her weekly press conference in Tehran on Wednesday, Marzieh Afkham hailed Leader's support for and trust towards Iranian negotiating team, calling it very precious and determining on the path of reaching an acceptable deal over Tehran's nuclear program.
She said the team will rely on the redlines announced by Ayatollah Khamenei to further talks in a way which fulfills the true rights of Iranian people.
On the new nuclear plan passed by Parliament on Tuesday to oblige the government to preserve nuclear rights and achievements, Afkham said, "we do not evaluate the motion as useful; however, Iranian negotiating team will abide by the measure once it is approved as a law by the Guardian Council," the body which oversees the bills passed by the Parliament and approves them into law.
On Yemen's issue, Afkham said the only solution to Yemen's issue was political, thus all efforts should be focused on the path of political measures.
She expressed Iran's willingness to continue dialogue to settle down disputes between different parties in Yemen.
The spokeswoman also hoped a truce would go into effect during the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that attacking Yemen is acceptable in no way.
