Secretary of the Human Rights Headquarters Mohammad-Javad Larijani said the recent nuclear deal proved the sincerity of Iran in its transparent nuclear program, Al-Alam News Network reports.
He made the remarks here in a meeting with the visiting Swiss Deputy Foreign Minister Yves Rossier.
He said the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is strongly supported by the majority of the nation in its brave attempts to strike the deal.
He further expressed hope that the western sides too would be equally sincere in carrying out their commitments.
He said the attempts of the Iranian president as well as the nuclear negotiating team in reaching a deal with the G5+1 focused on proving to the world that Iran is and has never been after nuclear arms.
As for the human rights cooperation between Iran and Switzerland, he referred to the past trend of judicial interactions between the two countries and hoped for richer and better dialogue and cooperation in future.
Rossier expressed satisfaction over signing of the nuclear deal and called for expansion of relations between Iran and Europe.
He further appreciated Iran’s assistance to his country in rendering humanitarian assistance to Syria.
He voiced readiness for promoting relations with Iran in different areas and expressed interest in resuming the human rights dialogue with Iran.
