Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Mamnoon Hussain on Saturday underlined that the final agreement between Tehran and the six world powers will be beneficial to the regional and neighboring countries, Al-Alam News Network reports.

"The Iran-Group 5+1 understanding will benefit the neighbors and the region; it will consolidate the economic relations," President Rouhani said.

He noted that the final agreement between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) also showed that no matter how complicated and difficult the problems in the relations among the countries are, they can be resolved through negotiations if there is a good will.

The Iranian president, meantime, pointed to the high capacities of Iran and Pakistan, and said, "We should try to boost the volume of the two countries' annual trade balance to above $5 billion and the present conditions have paved the way for its materialization."

President Rouhani also referred to the regional crises and appreciated Pakistan's stances on Yemen, and said, "We believe that the regional problems, including Yemen, should be settled through negotiations."

The Pakistani president, for his part, voiced his pleasure in a comprehensive agreement reached between Iran and the world powers, and said, "This agreement not only serves the two countries' interests, it is only beneficial for the entire region."

President Hussain, meantime, underlined the need for the expansion of all-out cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad, and confirmed President Rouhani's statement that "the two countries' trade balance should exceed $5 billion."

Iran and the six world powers struck a deal in Vienna on Tuesday.
