Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in an address to massive crowds of worshippers after the Eid-ul-Fitr congregational prayers at Tehran’s Mosalla Prayers Ground on Saturday.
Supreme Leader stressed that Iran would not let the other party undermine the basic principles of the Islamic establishment in the nuclear program.
“Whether the nuclear agreement is approved or not, Iran would not let any misuse of the agreement,” Supreme Leader added.
“Whether the nuclear agreement is ratified or not, Iran would continue supporting its friends in the region including Palestine, Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain and the resistance groups in Lebanon and Palestine,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.
Supreme Leader underscored that a large number of Muslims in Yemen, Bahrain and Syria have been under hard conditions due to hostile actions of enemies in the region.
The Supreme Leader reiterated that Iran’s policy toward the US would never change.
The Ayatollah added that Tehran and Washington policies in the region are in sharp contrast.
The Supreme Leader was delivering his Eid-ul-Fitr prayers sermons at Tehran Mosalla Prayers Ground on Saturday.
Heads of the three branches of government, Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Expediency Council Chairman, Hojjatoleslam Seyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of the Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini, cabinet members and the state and military officials were present in the congregational Eid-ul-Fitr prayers.
