An Iraqi official in the Western province of Anbar confirmed that the Iraqi Army and Hashed al-Sha'abi Shiite forces have taken control over 70 percent of Saqlawiyah in North of Fallujah, including government buildings, Al-Alam News reports.
The Iraqi army, Hashed al-Sha’abi forces and Saqlawiyah tribal fighters, in a joint operation against the ISIL terrorists' positions, seized control over 70% of Saqlawiyah area in Northern parts of Fallujah,” the source said.
According to Al-Alam News Network, “the troops liberated the local council building, the police station, the health center and Saqlawiyah mosque.”
