Eighty others were wounded at the plant in Hodeida, provincial governor Hasan al-Hai said, without specifying whether the factory was hit by an air strike or rebel shelling.

Yesterday Saudi-led airstrikes in Yemen kill 33 people after warplanes struck southern Yemen's Dhamar city, eyewitnesses have said. Dozens of people have also been injured in the strikes in Dhamar's Yarim district.
The Saudi-led fighter jets bombed Yemen's Yarim district in Ibb province, and claimed the lives of more than 8 people. The strikes also left 28 civilians wounded.
Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen for 7 days now, Martyred, at least, 200 civilians and injuring hundreds more. Overnight, the Saudi-led coalition targeted several sites in capital Sanaa and other parts of Yemen.
Since last Wednesday, Saudi Arabia and its allies backed by US have targeted many locations across Yemen.
Riyadh says the strikes are in response to appeals by embattled former President Abd Rabbu Manshour Hadi to recapture lost power and legitimacy.
