The Israeli media outlets have continued their speculations about the consequences of the recent statement issued by Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement in response to an Israeli air raid against Lebanese territories, describing the potential impact as “game-changing.”

Major Israeli papers pointed out on Friday that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah changed the established rules of game and declared his movement’s readiness to respond to the Israeli aggression despite Hezbollah’s military engagement in Syria.

The Israeli press reports further emphasized that by publicizing the regime’s aerial attack on its territory, Hezbollah has gained the legitimacy to wage a retaliatory strike considered Hezbollah announced the raid in order to gain the legitimacy for his response, stressing that the Lebanese movement has broken the theory which was based on denying an attack in order to avert an obligatory retaliation.

This is while the Tel Aviv regime’s military analysts have wondered whether it would be wise to trigger a war with Hezbollah and Lebanese forces by merely destroying a few of their rockets.

The Israeli regime suffered a major military defeat at the hands of Hezbollah forces when it waged an all-out attack against the Lebanese territory in 2006.
