"The new generation of ballistic missile with a fragmentation warhead, and a Bina laser-guided surface-to-surface and air-to-surface missile, have been successfully tested," Defense Minister Hossein Dehgan said.
The new ballistic missile could "evade anti-missile systems" and was capable of "great destruction," he said.
The other missile can be fired from a plane or a boat to strike military targets with "great precision," he added.
In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in its defense sector and has attained self-sufficiency in producing essential military equipment and systems.
Tehran has repeatedly assured other nations that its military might poses no threat to other countries, saying that the Islamic Republic’s defense doctrine is entirely based on deterrence.
