Syrian army also regained control of Damascus international airport and strategic roads leading to the holy Sayyidah Zaynab mausoleum on Friday, according to al-Alam TV news channel.
On Thursday, army troops have taken full control in Shab’a and arrived in Deir al-Asafir and Hatyat ul Turkaman in Ghouta in Damascus neighborhood, inflicting heavy damages to militant forces.
The army forces also destroyed tunnels prepared by terrorist forces to transfer arms and forces to the holy shrine in Rif Damascus.

Residents of the town accounted ordeal ahead of the arrival of Syrian army forces but said they refused to evacuate the town despite the smear campaign launched by terrorist forces.
Local people also said that terrorist groups came from different countries including Tunisia, Libya and Iraq.
