Al-Nusra terrorists kill top Syrian cleric

Foreign backed terrorist groups in Syria have shot to death a prominent Syrian cleric abducted by al-Nusra front in Latakia suburb.

Sheikh Badr Eddin Ghazal, a senior Shia cleric was kidnapped by al-Qaeda linked groups one month ago in a Latakia neighborhood in Western Syria.

“Sheikh Badr was executed in exchange for the murder in eastern Ghouta,” the terrorist group said in a statement on Monday.

Pictures posted by the terrorist group on internet show signs of scars and bruises on the body of the victim, indicating that the renowned figure was tortured before killing.

A foremost Alawite cleric, Sheikh Badr was abducted along with 150 Syrian citizens in village of Baroude near Latakia on August 5th.

The al-Qaeda-linked terrorists posted first video of abducted prominent Syrian cleric on Thursday.

The 15-second long video which was posted online had logo of a terrorist group linked to al-Qaeda named “Sham al-Islam Movement”.
