In an interview with Saudi Al-Sharq newspaper, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Moni has allegedly dismissed Hezbollah Resistance group as “the worst enemy”, saying that there is no chance of concession with Lebanese resistance group, Al-Alam reported.
“While Qaradawi had earlier supported the ideal of this resistance group, but it is cleared right now that Hezbollah fighters are seeking separation among Muslim nations, the Saudi radical cleric claimed.
These claims came following news revealing that controversial Qaradawi as well Qatari emir have largely hastened in making official relations with the Zionist regime officials within current weeks especially in military and security sectors.
Sheikh Abdullah’s words add to the growing criticism of Hezbollah by radical Arab clerics and authorities, underlining the sectarian aspect of Syria’s war where thousands of western-backed rebels including Saudi, Tunisian and EU militants are fighting with legal government of President Bashar al-Assad.
This is while Shi’ite Hezbollah is still revered by many Arab countries as a bulwark against the Zionist regime of Israel.
Earlier controversial Qatar-based Qaradawi called for war against Assad and Hezbollah.
He claimed he had been wrong to have praised Hezbollah in the past.
Hezbollah Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah, became a hero in the Arab world after his respected resistance group push Israel to withdraw from southern Lebanon in 2000 and defeated the Zionist regime in a war in 2006.
