The Arab League demanded the Security Council on Sunday to "act immediately to end Israeli attacks on Syria," describing them as a "dangerous violation of an Arab state's sovereignty."
The Egyptian presidency also released a statement in condemnation of the act. "Israel’s airstrike on Syria violated international law and principles that will further complicate the situation," the statement said.
The Zionist regime’s violent attack on Syrian soil has raised fears among Arab countries about regime’s sudden and stubborn moves posing a threat to their securities too.
Arab League, which has been a supporter of the bloody insurgency in Syria, has been siding with the Israeli regime, along with Qatar, in the case of Palestinian lands and supporting militants in Syria and now its condemnation of the Zionist regime’s aggressions is seen as a compensation aimed at dimming its role, while in fact, its stances had weakened Arab countries’ security.
The league even illegally handed over Syria’s seat to the opposition at a summit in Qatar’s capital, Doha, and pledged military support to them to topple the Syrian government.
