According to a military source in the Kurdish Mountains (Jabal Al-Akrad), the Syrian Armed Forces stormed the Al-Rai outskirts today, striking Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham’s ( Nusra Front )defenses at the village’s southern perimeter.

No gains have been reported thus far; however, it appears that the Syrian Armed Forces are poised to capture the final points along the Turkish border with the Latakia Governorate.

Today’s assault in the northern Latakia countryside is the Syrian Armed Forces first offensive this month; it is also the first time in the last two months that they have targeted the Al-Rai area near the Turkish border.

It is reported that SAA liberates several towns NE of Kinsibba.
