The ISIS resumed attacks against other terrorist groups in the Northern parts of Aleppo on Sunday to extend its clout in the region.
The ISIS attacked the gathering centers of other terrorist groups in Northern Aleppo in several missile attacks after its own positions were pounded by coalition fighter jets.
Salih al-Zain, a field commander of terrorists stationed in the Northern parts of Aleppo, said that the ISIS attacked the town of Mare' with several Katyusha and mortar shells, but the attack failed to inflict any casualties on other terrorist groups.
Also, the ISIS launched an offensive on the strongholds of other terrorist groups near the border village of Sandaf which was repelled by Faylaq al-Sultan Murad and Faylaq al-Sham militants and forced the ISIL members to withdraw.
According to field sources, the mortar and artillery fire is still being exchanged between the ISIS and other terrorist groups present in the region.
Some 30 ISIL terrorists were killed and scores more were injured after its positions near a key village in the Northern part of Aleppo province near the border with Turkey came under attack by rival terrorist groups on Saturday.
The terrorist groups stormed the ISIS lines of defense in the village of Dalha and drove the terrorist rivals back from its positions after several hours of non-stop infighting.
The terrorist groups took back Dalha and started to fortify their position inside and outside of the village.
Late in April, several terrorists of Faylaq al-Sultan Murad were killed in clashes with ISIS in Northern Aleppo province.
Faylaq al-Sultan Murad, affiliated to the Free Syrian Army, confirmed that at least eight members of the group were killed in fierce clashes with the ISIS near the village of Tal Hossein.
A number of the ISIS terrorists were wounded in the clashes, FNA reported.
