Larijani on Sunday morning attended a meeting with members of a parliamentary fraction to discuss a range of issues, particularly the conclusion of the talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany) on Tehran's nuclear energy program.

Iran and the six powers on July 14 finalized the text of a lasting nuclear deal, dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

While the United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution afterwards to endorse the deal, the text of the document needs to be ratified by both Iran's Parliament and the US Congress.

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Iranian MP Esmail Jalili quoted Larijani as saying in the Sunday meeting in Iran's parliament that the lawmakers do not need to be concerned about the conclusion of nuclear talks.

Different expert groups are scrutinizing the document and will soon give a report to the parliament, Larijani was cited as saying.

Earlier on July 21, the Iranian lawmakers decided to establish a special commission to study the 159-page nuclear accord, reached in Vienna, Austria.

The parliament is going to select 15 members of the special commission in its open session on Tuesday.
